Part 6:
Jaejoong woke up with a groan and tossed around under his blanket. He sniffed, and seemed to be surprised that his nose was no longer blocked. He would’ve smiled, but he didn’t see the point.
After what happened the day before, his mood was dampened for the rest of the evening. Sure, he could’ve signed in at the wrong time. Yunho has a life too, and it was the holidays for the two young students. There was no reason for Jaejoong to be so depressed... Okay he did have a reason but he didn’t have to be so butt-hurt about it.
His thoughts were interrupted when his mother walked into his room and gasped in surprise to see the young boy already awake. She walked over quickly and laid her hand on his forehead and smiled. Jaejoong supposed it was a good thing.
“You’re feeling much cooler than yesterday, Joongie,” she cooed and let out a little laugh. The sick boy only smiled weakly. He was too tired to respond properly.
After his mother helped him up to brush his teeth and make sure he could shower by himself, he was back on his bed, back pressed against the headboard feeling much more refreshed. He didn’t feel as dirty as before and his headaches seemed to have disappeared.
“I’m going to leave for work, okay? AJ should be awake any minute now so just take care of yourself for a little while.” With a nod, his mother was out of the house and he was left alone in his quiet room.
Not even a second later, AJ barges into his room with a large smile on his face, “Heard you’re feeling a ton better! Let’s go play games!”
A lift of an eyebrow. “But I don’t think I can handle games very well at this moment-”
“Nonsense!”
Jaejoong was pulled off his bed so quickly that he almost tripped over his own feet.
“Hey, watch it AJ! It’s too early to move so fast!” He whined and clutched at his head when he felt a little jab of pain hit him. AJ immediately turned around and gasped.
“Oh crap, sorry Jaejoong! God, I’m such an idiot!” AJ pouted as he massaged the shorter males head and Jaejoong rolls his eyes.
“Don’t worry about it, you pabo! Let’s just go to the living room I need to jump on the computer for a second.”
AJ jumped in surprise as he remembered, “Oh, your friend Yunho or something was trying to talk to you yesterday but you were probably asleep.”
Jaejoong turned around so fast that AJ almost screamed at the sudden fast movement.
“WHAT?!” Jaejoong bolted down the hallway and almost dived on his office chair, AJ close behind him.
“Yah! You shouldn’t be running so fast! And yes, Yunho. He looked like he was dying from being so scared for you. It was a little stupid.”
“You’re stupid! Why didn’t you tell me earlier?!” Jaejoong quickly typed in his password and impatiently waited for his computer to load. Hurry up!
AJ scoffed and slapped Jaejoong’s arm, “Maybe because you were dying on your bed sleeping?”
The sick boy growled and hastily tried to sign into MSN.
Just as successfully logged himself in, Ahjoong walked into the living room and almost scowled.
“Jaejoong! You shouldn’t be on the computer!” Jaejoong almost wanted to cry.
“B-but! I need to talk to-“
“Your mum trusts us to take care of you when she’s at work and you sitting on the computer is not going to do you any good! You can talk to your friend after you’re feeling better.”
“Oh come on, sis!” AJ stomped his foot on the floor and Jaejoong bit his lip. But Yunho...
“Come downstairs with me, Jaejoong. Now. You too, AJ.” She glared and left to go downstairs.
Aj could only sigh and smile at Jaejoong sympathetically. Jaejoong, however, really looked like he was going to cry.
Just as the two boys left to go eat breakfast, a new message popped up on Jaejoong’s computer screen.
?!. Yuuuuunho says: Jaejoong? Nudge me when you’re back! Got it?! L
