Just a few lines that took my breath away:
John understands now why they argue constantly. As a united force they are something altogether more frightening.
Sherlock deliberately catches his eye, gaze steady. Understanding.
She doesn't trust anyone else to do him justice.
“Sit down, keep me company.”
Here is the work of his life, alive and breathing and well-kept, steady at his bedside.
After I have myself a little cry, I'm going to reread these again.
