The weather these past two days has been extraordinary to say the least. In times gone past people would have suspected sorcery. I for one still do. I've leapt outdoors with a meal in hand for some glorious outdoor breakfasts only to discover that whilst blue skies surround me, the sky above is extremely dark and leaky. I sat down at the garden

I imagine those adverts are compiled by recruiters and people in HR departments who understand little of the technical stuff. Apply for anything and everything and find out the details at the interview :)

Ha ha ha! Doubtless you are right of course. The end results are spectacular though. One read "An experienced and opinionated DBA wanted". I can only imagine. So people who see both sides of the issue and have tentative qualified opinions on matters can just get the hell out.

Perhaps one day I will apply. It's hard to break out of this at the moment though. I feel like I'm on rails. I almost almost almost applied for a vacancy that was going with Square (just imagine... working for the company who produced games that had such a profound influence on our teens), but I found myself unable to break away at the last minute. I need more momentum.
