the past week or so has had its ups and downs. i'm starting to have a problem with the fact that i cannot find the girl that makes me happy, and could turn my whole day around, just by saying "hey." i haven't been in a relationship for a long time now, and i've grown used to it... but latley, i've been missing that so much

doug, you kick ass... so you shouldnt have to worry about it. You may not always be very assertive, but you're not an asshole or a bitchy and whiny kind of person... just wait for someone important to notice it. It has definately been a noble act and not just pure stupidity. I'm not really one to talk, but sometimes you have to throw yourself out there and not care what people are going to think... keep it in mind, but dont let it completely influence how you act. k, just thought i'd add my own little piece of advice to reflect on that rant.

andn i do agree with matt. its not stupidity. its actually quite cooln cause then when you find that one person you'll really know, and won't be like most guys who think is another girl. (and i know thats kind of a hugely overgeneralized statement o.O) but yay for you~
and dont worry, (im gonna sound like an old lady here) you still have the rest of your life ahead and all kinds of different places to see. i'm sure she's there somewhere!

thanks guys. i think i'm feeling a little better about it than i was before. i was in a down mood and i just felt like i had to get it out.
and yeah, emily, you are right (how she could be somewhere else), but thats always what i've thought. so i never did worry about it. but now its upsetting me and i don't know why. :\ oh well.
