What's the problem with being homeless? There are some people who worship a homeless man on Sunday but forget about the rest of them on Monday. There is something so genuine about the squatters and bums of the Earth. So much to learn from them. So much they could learn from us ( Read more... )

I've never heard of it being illegal to give food and money to homeless people, but if you're talking about pan handling yes, I understand that not all of homeless people fall into the category of drug abusing psychotic but in Las Cruces a few years ago the pan handling situation was so out of control and ridiculous I'm personally glad they outlawed it.

I still see homeless people around and I see people giving them money all the time. My heart goes out to anyone who is in that kind of a situation, but I can understand why people don't want pan handlers in their city.

If you ever offer a homeless person some work for the money and they decline, they don't really need it.

I was going to try and be all cool like diego. and post a video you might like....but when I went to find it. well it was no longer there.

it was about these kids in LA who do this thing called burrito project. its pretty much like a food not bombs thing. they make a bunch of burritos in their kitchen and take them out on there bikes...giving them to homeless or anyone who wants one. I was inspired by it.

uh yeah anyway I totally hear you justin. I have been reading alot about saint francis lately and been realizing how lame I am.

I really want to do/ be like jesus. and your right he was homeless and his deciples were homeless too.

Learning about saint francis...how he gave up everything.. to be a begger...and how he was so happy to do it. He was so in love. well it puts me to shame thats for sure.

I hope I can see you when I come to visit. yeah well take care.
