I just got back from visiting Laura last night. It was without a doubt our best visit yet and therefore also one of the hardest to recover from. This was also my last time visiting Laura's apartment on Maspeth with Jasper the cutest pomeranian ever who got a cute summer haircut

something i was too annoying to tell you on the phone last night is that i met a man yesterday who lived at 41 maspeth for SEVEN YEARS!! he told me all of this gossip about beard & amy and the birth of beard's son. i'll tell you later, it's intense.
he asked me how long i'd lived there and i said "2 years" and he said "that's enough. you've paid your dues"
and then kate was complaining about her day (he's kate's friend) and he was like "don't even complain, this girl is a HERO, she has to go home to 41 maspeth every day" and it was like, wow, he understands, there was such a kinship between us.
he thinks there's a curse on the building.
