for writing this. i believe you have as little fondness for beck as me. this is one of the best things i have read in a long time. i hope vish takes it all in.

Thanks Laura! I was really into him in my younger days, so I'm pretty sensitive to this whole "cult of Beck" shit. There are clearly worse things to be into, but the attitude that he "can do no wrong" just by being Beck (as a friend put it) is pretty ... bogus.
I found Vish's band on myspace. They look really good.
