I by chance saw this post so sorry if this comment is delayed and random.
I found out about the community from my Twitter feed. Not sure how but most likely someone retweeted a tweet from one of the moderators and when I went to the account to follow there was a link.
What made me want to join is because the Snow Man community on LJ seems very small. I think I only know of one other Snow Man LJ community, so obviously I would want to join!
