Don't know if this helps or not, but I made some OCD threads over in tonight's FTEC post that at least vaguely sketch out what's going on with the attempt to cure Angel.

We still have to play it out so other than the broad strokes even *I* don't know what all is going to go down, but maybe that helps with some linkage before LJ is a big ol' whore?
