"I like it," I told her as I climbed off the bed and walked over to her. She was right though. It was different in this dream. We'd never managed to meet here and never had we gotten this close.
"The question is, do you?" Because it was so hard to tell when she was looking at me with those eyes. God, she had eyes...like needles. But they were not his eyes. Familiar, maybe, but not his. Not family. Her blood didn't scream to me the way family blood did, but something caught me by the throat just the same.
"I'm pretty good at getting in the way. Rules are made to be broken. Didn't you learn that yet?" I asked her, smiling coyly as I reached out to brush the tips of my finger across her pouty bottom lip. So fucking beautiful.

"I haven't learned anything yet." I shook my head at her. "Except a lifetime's worth." I said on second thought because there were demons in here that didn't belong to me. They were the product of something else, something that I knew set me apart from everyone else.
Suddenly I reached out and grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me forcefully.
"I need you to be here." I put her hand over my heart thumping loudly in my chest, drowning out the deafening silence. "Will you stay? You need to be here. Things....will happen if you're not. I don't think it's good." I wrinkled my brow a little bit before pulling her hand away from my chest and kissing her hard on the lips because I wanted to.
Because I wanted her.
