My thoughts... betuska February 21 2006, 09:42:25 UTC
Unless you really feel in need of encouragement or refocusing, I wouldn't worry about missing LTC or D team this week. We miss you when you're not around, but I'd guess your family probably needs you more this week, and if it were me, I wouldn't want to miss any chance to hang out with my dad til I knew he was out of the woods--especially while he's right here in Denver, which makes it much easier for you to be with him than when he's in Nebraska.

Just a thought. :)

Good news about your dad! God has seriously done some amazing things with our D-Team's family's health this past year.

Good to hear about your dad, I'm glad he is doing better. Its probably got a chain effect of making your whole family feel better as well. I hope that you are encouraged right now because the way that you have been handling all this has encouraged those around you a ton. Its also helped me to help some other people in my life that are going through really similar trials. I read this verse yesterday...James 1:12...Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. I thought about all the people I know that are going through trials, not only the ones under physical trials but those, like yourself, who are being test through what is happening with other people. The trials are different but the reward is the same. Take comfort in knowing that God has promised you the crown of life. :):) :) :) Its very exciting when you think about it.
PS I agree with Beth's thought
