i made a couple of internet purchases for christmas gifts this year, and i am nervous about them getting here in time for me to wrap and give.  i don't buy often enough off of the internet (especially during the holidays) for me to feel confident about their arrival times.  the last one, made a scant 5 minutes ago, was a sort of impulse-buy
