i don't care how trite it is, i love the soundtrack to nick and norah's infinite playlist.  it plays exactly as it should; the perfect mixtape for a movie packed with subtle (for high school) emotional displays; the perfect mixtape for accompanying pretty much any young person's life. who cares if i'm 27 and loving the same thing a junior high kid
