So apparently I'm about to deal with homophobia in my own household

Parents find out I have a boyfriend. BAM. I'm grounded and I have to start all of my AP summer work TODAY or else I get another definite week of grounding. I don't know WHAT incentive I have, because I don't know the duration of my sentence anyways. They don't know what the fuck they're doing and neither do I. For the first time in my life, even ( Read more... )

Beat them at their own game. Get the homework the fuck done (and ha! you need to get out of the house for the texts and such), annoy the shit out of them at the house (accidentally/innocently break dishes, slam doors, not flush the toilet, spit in their drinks (without them knowing), rub their toothbrushes on your ass, etc), and always know you have your network of crazy people to stand by you, even if by standing we mean have AIM and our phones at the ready. Oh, and if things really get shitty (my mum permitting), you could probably live here for a while.

Well Paul. Here you again. The stupid, stubborn you. You're so intelligent, and yet such a mule.
I've told you so many billion times before: be the bigger man! Look, I know you don't care, and I agree that your parents are completely arbitrary and unreasonable. Hell yeah, but don't let that ruin summer for you. Even if they don't relent, you have to at least find out what the fuck their problem is. Sammi's way is funny, but hell try my way first. It might just produce better results. And if not, Sammi's method is still Plan B. TALK IT OUT WITH THEM. I promise it'll be worth it...

*comfort hug* Your parents are asses, but we're standing behind you. (Solidarity! Stregnth! Damn the pumpkins! Full speed ahead!) Try to talk to them, even though I know you don't want to, and if that doesn't work, I have a guest room.

of the network of crazy people, all of us would make room
but keep in mind how you said you would never love your brother and he would never love you. your parents WILL learn to accept this, they arent the type to hold out forever. they love you, they just need time. meanwhile, youve got some spitting to do.
