I dont like people who lie; I generally make an exception for parents because nearly everyone, including myself does it. I still think it's bad, just not nearly as bad as lying to a friend. But what really does it is a person that says something like they mean it and totally don't mean it at all. A friend acknowledges another friend's existance ( Read more... )

I don't just hate lying, I loathe lying. Yes, sometimes parents are exceptions, especially in your case. I just happen to be lucky to have a mother that doesn't require me to lie. But as far as friends not acknowledging you, I know how it goes. Anyone not acknowledging you and avoiding you is annoying, and kind of depressing. It's almost cowardly, really. *shrug*

I'd say L2use spell check, but the misspellings, more than anything, add to the effect of rage that seethes in your post.

Actions speak louder than words. Which is usually why I try not to listen to what people say, or at least absorb it too quickly. It's like someone who preaches the word of God but goes home to beat and cheat on his wife. Or just a lying asshat.
