Eryn, whenever you feel like a grain of sand in the ocean, or a needle in a haystack, or a button in a cornfield, remember this. God knows every grain of sand and where it is, hemisphere, ocean, and time zone; he knows where every needle in every haystack is, and where every button in every cornfield happens to be. I would say that there are probably lots of buttons in lots of cornfields....I don't think farmers are probably the best of seamstresses, but then again I could be wrong. what I'm trying to say is that nothing in this world is worthless, insignificant, or pointless in God's eyes...or why would he bother to know where everything is and how it is affecting everything else around it ( ... )

i once thought i was worthless and then i to found that God was the missing link. i found that i was asking many of the questions you are asking, and the answer was and is God. i was afraid to fail more than anything but then i realized that God wouldn’t think less of me if i fail. all i have to do is try. God can make your life worth working for. it will be difficult and you might fall down now and again but God will always be there to help you up and back on track. it is true no person will ever be able to understand you completely but real friends will want to understand you and will be there for you. i have found myself in a prison i made from by the walls i erected around myself. it wasn't until i started to remove the bricks of the wall of my past that i could really see the light. i am not saying i know your situation but i know what i have been through and what i have seen so many other people go through trying to know themselves. the bible says somewhere that the lord knows the plans he has made for us. i found out ( ... )
