Hanatarou-san, how are you? I haven't seen you in a while--you got sewer duty, too? Please look after Abarai-taichou if you see him; he got grounded and has to do sewer duty for a little while, too, and I don't think he has any idea where he's going down there...

Erm, I can surely poke around and see what I can find. I have access to a lot of records and old correspondence in the Ritentai archives, and I can check the library and the Eighth Division's records as well. They have a whole section of maps and blueprints; it's quite interesting actually!

How strange, that there would be tunnels you didn't know about! Haven't you guys done the maintenance down there for a long time? Hee! It's like a secret passageway! Maybe it leads to buried treasure!

It's been... Busy here.

But I'll make certain to look after Renji-taichou, if he needs my help! ...Does he really get lost that often? The tunnels really aren't that hard to get around once you learn how to memorize the turns.

And we've been doing maintenance down here for as long as I can remember. Longer than I've been assigned to it, I'm sure! Are you sure this isn't too much trouble for you? I know you have a lot of responsibilities as the secretary. It might just connect back to the rest of the tunnels further down. There was... well, there was a lot of damage when Ichigo and his friends... er, first came.

I don't know about his general sense of direction, really, but he did come back to the office awfully late the other night, and when I asked what had kept him so long, he...said not to ask.

But no, it's not too much trouble at all! I'm kind of curious now myself. It's the weekend, and they don't need me at the academy tomorrow, so I'll have some free time. I can swing by the Eighth and see what I can find. I'll let you know!

And...I heard about all the damage Kurosaki-san and the others cause back then. I really would like to meet him sometime.

Ichigo was doing all that just to save Miss Rukia. He really is quite amazing. I know I wasn't much help when he and Ganju-san took me with them, but... At least I got a chance to help.
