Do you ever wonder why you jump through so many hoops and sometimes get up early every day and go to a job you don't like, and keep doing it day after day after day.....not that I don't like my job. Right now it's good because it's keeping me busy. Past 2 days, I've been swamped!! But where is the big payoff? I guess I'm just pondering the big

As for your questions... here is my take on it.
Why are we all here? To learn, to grow, to become better people.
Is it all worth it? I beleive the final stage is to become one with God... so hell yea it is worth it.
Just being a speck? I disagree. Each person is, and should be, the center of their universe. If you neglect yourself you will never learn and grow. Part of enlightenment is knowing when you can do something and when you can't.
Stress? Don't let it get to you. If you feel frustrated like you can't do anything, then don't. Do what you can and let the rest lie. Dont stress over things you can't effect.
You might find some communities on LJ that interest you. Not sure how much time you want to put into LJ, but you can get some good discussion from other points of view. Try an interest search.
