Ironman 2006

Here we go! Ironman 2006!

I signed up about a month ago, thought I might try to keep it secret in case I end up not doing it, but oh well. Just don't want it seeping out at work.

Last time I volunteered catching finishers at Ironman CDA 2003, I knew next time I was there I would be the one running (or limping) over that finsh line!!

OH MY GOLLY! You are really doing it! I am so excited for you!

I am not doing the marathon this year. Hopefully next year. My foot still isn't good and I don't want to push it. And since I have been having foot problems, I haven't been running at all!

Though I think I might volunteer.

I'm sorry you arenn't doing it with me. I am out into loner territory now I guess, as no one wants to do the marathon or the Ironman with me :( Gee, I wonder why.

You have to be healed up before undertaking a marathon. I'm even pushing it from my injury in Dec.

This week I'm up to 11.5 mile run. I could possibly do a 1/2 iron on my bday, but don't know if I'll make it. I think doing the IM CDA will get it out of my system.

I hope I can stay at your house on the Portland marathon. You should volunteer...that would be cool.

I want to, but I don't think it would be wise. Which Marathon are you doing? The Portland or a different one? I am probably going to volunteer at the Portland marathon, just so I get an idea of how it works.
