How to tell you're a fucking idiot

So, somehow I took the simple act of watering the plants and ended up with a huge lump and a lot of blood on the top of my head. I can't see exactly what's up because of my hair, but it hurts like a fucker, with a headache to boot. So much for the theory that I can handle domestic chores ;)

Thanks! I'm much better, just a tad sore. I think my ego has sustained the worst blow. Now all my new aquantances know me for the clutz I am! :p

I totally knew you'd find the hilarity in it. Actually, the first thing I did after it happened was laugh really hard, but I think that was more of an attempt to save-face in case any nosy neighbors were watching (which, thank goodness, I don't think they were).

And on the plus side, my hair totally hides the monster bump. And there's something *oddly* appealing about have a scar on my head ;)

Thanks for the concern, lovely. I think all has calmed down to be nothing more than a nasty sore scab/bump combination hidden somewhere under my hair, and a small deflation of my pride. Good thing there were no witnesses ;)
