Laney had a fantastic time today, helping one friend move into a new apartment, celebrating the Birthday Thing in the evening, giving me praise over her lame, vegetable cutting gifts.

AND she finally explained that putting down "less than three" makes a heart, which I'd never garnered before.

When your day consists of morning walks in the hot sun, hours of leisurely reading from fantasy novels, swimming with three of the best gals you know, and eating "picnic" dinners in the living room while reminiscing over D2, you know Summer's arrived, and you're just lucky. Very lucky.

What's this? A stirring of tenderness and maybe even -- no, it can't be... but it is! -- *affection* for my class :). And I think it's always nice to be part of a group.
