No severance for ANYONE at the store level. Just found out from our "HR representative" today. I did hear that those in HO did get it, don't know it for a fact though. Those of us in the stores get royally screwed again!

I was part of the April round of closings and go nothing. Maybe our GM and other managers got something, but I doubt it. There were supposedly "retention bonuses" if they stayed to the end and we met some kind of sales goal. The rest of us were guaranteed nothing from the start.

If you're a manager or sup, I'd say maybe, but don't count on it.

I was a GM of a closing store back in April. We found out we were closing in February and sometime in May, I got a check for about $800. That amounted to about $15 a day through the closure. A joke.

Getting extra hours now is the most "extra" pay any of the employees can hope for.

the liquidation retention bonus are weeeeeak...as a supe, I could have "potentially" gotten $1,000...partly pro-rated on how long your individual store stays open, and partly based on sales goals of the entire group of stores in your cluster. When all was said and done, I wound up scheduled to get about $700 of that potential $1,000 and after being taxed up the wazoo, my check was something like $412.

By the way, that amount was prorated based on ALL of the closing stores making their sales goals. Our liquidator explained this to me as "you" making your sales goals. Deceit!
