All of our workers are on the schedule for at least one of our three last days next week.

Many of the store closing dates are listed on this Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Borders?sk=app_205521576149308

As I understand it, all stores will be shut down by September 18.

Does anyone have access to a complete (or whatever you've got) list of store numbers along with the locations?

Also, does anyone remember the store number of the Borders that was in the World Trade Center? With so many of us closing on the 10th anniversary of the literal crushing of one of our stores, it'd be nice to remember it. ;)

Tell that to the classy people who picked the date. I refuse to ignore the obvious.

No one is keeping it secret, we just plain don't know. It's determined by units left/avg units sold per day. If you haven't heard yet, expect the 17th because your gm should get a 7 day notice (though ours was a 6 day). Hope that helps- our date has changed 3 times. Frustrating as all get out but almost over.

Keep in mind your keyholders are getting the short end, too.

Tons of people will work on the last day of sales but only a few on the vacate date (one day after close)

Oh shut up about dumb keyholders. They are nothing more a vacant expressionless individual holding a key.

LOL right. Keyholders were NERDS in our store. One was a slut and the other was never around. Ambitions? Sure, if that's what you call ambition. How sad your world must be to have that as something to look up to.
