So how long do ya' think this board will remain active? Certainly a great place to vent but now that the company is OOB it all seems kind of moot.

Change the name to Former Borders Employees/I Worked At Borders and people can come here to whine and bitch and moan for years because they can't get over it all.

I think everyone should band together and share your experiences in finding work or going back to school. Resume suggestions and job interviews. It might help people because it's really dead in the job sitaution.

I'm not coming back to this site anymore.

This site has literally help me keep my sanity. I discovered this after 3 years working at Borders. I knew I couldn't be the only one who noticed how fucked up this company is. Yet, people around me kept going about their business. As if, doing things half-assed was perfectly normal and acceptable. Telling me, I'm the one who had the problem.

I had to come back and check out this site one more time. I had to see if and how the company fucked up closing their doors for good. Also to see, if they fucked over the remaining employees left.

Good Riddance to Borders! Thank you LiveJournal for providing a space for employees to vent. Now is the time to let go.

I say they should keep this blog for former employees. We should keep on blogging about books and the book industry. Also check out Barnes & Noble breakroom livejournal to keep informed.

Hi All, I have been on Cobra this past year and on Aug 24, 2011, I received a letter from benefits that said our health insurance would be covered until Dec 31st 2011. When I went on the Conexis site to pay for this coming months fee, it did not have them listed there at all. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance.
