Hi Becca, I worked for Waldenbooks and then Borders Express for almost 26 years. Ours was a small but happy store. We were tossed out of our space in our mall because a books-a-million wanted our spot and frankly, the mall knew we were on our way out. It was the longest, saddest, and happiest month and a half of my life. My manager and I are still hangin and the other 3 (thats right, only 3) other girls have gone on their way but we still see each other as well. What I want to do is thank you for your book. I thought it was well written and it it really hit the mark on the customers and the family like feeling that most Borders stores had. I miss the store everyday and it was good to pick up your book and read the stories that made us who we are. Thanks, Becca.
