I do it for the same reason as you. Calling him out on his bullshit and then watching him try to weasel his way out with something so ridiculous that even calling it ass-backwards logic is being kind.
I agree its fun to mess with Mick. Think I missed the outcome, but guess it had to do with the Bendis talk. Think the guy needs to lighten the hell up.
I came into it after the fact, but from what I can see, it looks like the outcome was everyone who didn't think of Bendis as the Grand Poobah of Dialogue and Characterization was either an idiot, a kiss-ass fanboy, a social outcast, a nobody, or has no idea how to write real characters. Or all of the above. After all that, he deleted his journal, presumably to be resurrected before the permanent delete deadline, as per usual.

Well, that last post got a bit out of hand, didn't it? Sorry about that. I should know better to argue with Mick on the subject of Bendis, Mick has a real blind spot when it comes to any flaws he has as a writer.

I was attacked first. I get tired of people bashing Bendis. I get tired of being told my opinions are whack. Etc, etc. As for JLU, I quit because I'm frankly tired with arguing with all of you. Dino most of all. He stalks my livejournal, my facebook which he has admitted, and doesn't even for one second go: "Hey, I'm being an ass, if I leave Mick alone - maybe he will leave me alone."
He just keeps at me. And the truth is, 99.9% of the time, the community does fall in line with everything Dino says when it comes to an opinion. Which is a another reason I get so tempermental. Not one person shares my point of view, or even says: "I just disagree and let's leave it at that."
They try and tell me I'm a dofus for having my opinions. I get the same flack from the writers at digital webbing, but at least I'm not around them all that often.
Curt, I'm sorry I left you hanging. But, I seriously don't need this shit day in and day out. I hope you understand.
