sorry for the short hiatus. been going thru some stuff. lets see what happen when i got on ffxi afew days ago.

so if you didn't know summerfest had already started. i got my yukata. everyone is now wearing theirs. blah blah. so i decide to log/mine the whole time when summerfest started. since the begining of SF, i've collected quite afew ores, ( Read more... )

Do you log with the Field gear? I'm tempted to spend/waste gil on the set.. but if it's not worth it.....

just say my pickaxes and hatchet don't break 50% (or more). but i do get alot of stuff harder to find stuff with them on when i harvets/log/mine.

me too. i might go logging again. i got to lvl 10 in cooking so now i need to get more money. about 20-30k more to get to lvl 40-50 cooking!! so i can make kabobs and pies ^^.

Is there any way to get better at mining except from buying the gear? I was wondering about that. Is there a hidden 'mining' skill?

theres nothing really jsut that the mining gear saves my pocket. my pickaxes and hatchets don't break for a longer period of time unlike if i don't have gear it breaks at a higher rate. so the only things you gotta know is where the points will open and how fast you can run to them (if you have competition).
