Thanks for your input! I do have a list of prompts for those months when we don't get any entries. I may have to think about doing dual prompts. Maybe as a special, every now and then thing? Hmmmm...Ponders to ponder.

Honestly, I don't like extending deadlines, either, given how I've been trying to make sure that the prompts all start at the same time every month. (Consistency, I likes it!) But considering that we really don't have a contingency for dealing with this (and silly me didn't really think about the eventuality of it happening) this is the only thing I could think of for now. Hopefully we'll get something in place so that we don't have to do this again. ^_^

Either announce the tie and have a dead heat three-day vote between the two entries...

...or disclose the themes and have a dead heat three-day vote between two themes.

I think there should be a vote off between the two to decide the winner. Having two themes could get confusing.

I have another idea: Next time there's a tie for the theme, just let iy_blindmod pick. The job should come with some perks.

Another idea: If anyone ever wins MORE than twice in a row, we go with the runner-up's theme.
