Zack really is a calming influence on Ashe. He just sets her at ease. Somehow, Zack understands how to give Ashe her space, but also how to rib at her without going too far. Ashe has a bit of trouble keeping up with everyone, but Zack manages to stay within her pace. She really does like him and thinks he's a wonderful guy. (And that Aeris and Cloud are lucky for that, though is still a bit confused on that whole debacle.) Really, it's the start to a very good relationship for Ashe as she does want to know more about him and spend time with him, even if she wouldn't openly say as much.
Oh, and like with all others, Ashe would like him to stop calling her princess. Though, he is one of the few where she doesn't think it's an insult that he does.
I AM RETURNING THIS cuz I will probably not do a relationship meme in a while cuz I'm lazy.
But Zack adores Ashe. I mean, on top of her being this gorgeous woman and all, he enjoys talking to her, and finds that she's a lot different from the women he's used to talking to. He wants to know more about her and her kingdom, and really, just wants to get to know her more. And he doesn't really change around her, but his behavior . . . shifts to be more accommodating, if that makes sense? ZACK IS ZACK, THIS WILL NEVER CHANGE. But there's so much to him that people see different sides, and Ashe is one of those people.
And as for the princess thing? It's more a mix of giving her the respect she deserves as well as a nickname. HE DOESN'T MEANT IT AS AN INSULT AT ALL and if she asked him to stop he would, but it's definitely meant in a friendly way.
Upon re-reading their confession thread. . . Oh, these two.
I don't even know, really. Joshua thought Chris was fairly stupid and easy to trick. It's not that Joshua enjoys tricking others, but he just likes to see what people do and their reactions. It's a weird habit from not really acting like other people, so he tries to see what other people are like. However, when Joshua got to the point where he normally broke other people. . . Well, Chris came back! Even more than that, because Joshua has a lot of dumb people that bother him, Chris was approaching him in a very thoughtful manner. Most people leave Joshua to his ways, weird as they are, but Chris was honestly asking the question most don't vocalize: Why? While Joshua wouldn't answer, because he just doesn't like justifying himself to others and didn't think it the wisest move, he did give Chris some credit. Joshua is always very good about giving people the, ah, credit they deserve for doing things that he can respect. I would have to say this is where Joshua has become more

Oh, jeez. Maguri is Takanari's best friend, okay. :( Like Takanari said in the last CFUZazzle, he didn't realize that Maguri cared so much about him at the time, but on thinking back on it. . . He realized that he had someone very close to him the whole time. Takanari really respect Maguri for sticking with him, even with how intolerable he was. Maguri just knows how to deal with Takanari. While Takanari is unsure in himself and how to act sometimes with Maguri, he's sure that Maguri wouldn't hold it against him. Takanari places a lot of trust in him, so even with all the friends he has in camp-Takanari thinks of Maguri as still being above them for all of these reasons. :(b

Ashe and Vaan have not! It's really hard for them to change, imho.
As for Takanari and Maora. . . Takanari has never quite gotten Maora. He understands her to a degree, but he's never been sure of their relationship together. She cares about him, and vice-versa, yes. But it's just a sort of unsaid thing. Maora is part of the group, Maora helps everyone, and Maora is just always around! He was starting to get annoyed about how she was always underfoot with the Shizumasa and Haine trouble, but. . . Well, after his goof-up, he understands that Maora isn't just some unstoppable force of nature. He always has to remind himself of that. Maora is a person, and she has feelings. So, he's been reminded once again to watch himself and make sure she's okay. It's always slowly building up with them, I think.
. . . You know what, I am not writing on Delita and Ashe. The thought makes me want to cry, seriously.
I REALLY HAVE NO CLUE WITH THESE TWO. I think they just have two natures that work with each other! Luffy is a free-spirit and doesn't bogged down by anything, really. He has such an unique perspective that Kino just likes watching him go and go. He lets her be as aloof and distant as she likes, considering she isn't the best at forming actual relationships. So, they work together like that. They have a certain amount of intimacy through just not being especially close in a weird way. Truly, Kino just likes Luffy and appreciates that he lets her go about her business with no trouble.
One of Luffy's strengths is his way of just... getting people. Not understanding everything they do or say, but knowing what drives them and what's important to them on the most basic level. For Kino, he knows she doesn't need anything from him, not like the members of his crew need and have needed him in the past. There's more to it than that, but it's part of why he draws a distinction between "nakama" (a term he uses only for his crew, really-- like "comrade," but stronger) and "friend." He calls Kino a friend because that's what she is! Someone he gets along with, enjoys being with, and will miss, but not someone that needs him, and not someone he needs. Luffy would never ask Kino to join his crew, because while they get along, there are pieces missing-- Kino has a different path to follow, and she can get there without him

. . . I need to throw him at Kino again, and Ikki at Takanari more, sob.
