Hi, sorry about the lack of a post this weekend. Since I didn't have any entries last week I didn't have a contest to run, and we've only had one entry since. I'm guessing that like me, most of our members are currently being swamped with real-life and back-to-school troubles, so in lieu of that and my own time constraints at the moment this ( Read more... )

Wah, don't tell me I have to find another place on the internet to waste my time... >.< And Issekiwa going down too, what am I to do?

I mean, if you're just tired of modding, that's something different. I couldn't hold that against you, you've done a lot over the last few months for this comm, and you don't owe us anything.

I really have no idea why there were so few entries. But iyfic_contest has had a few weeks where it seemed like no one was entering, and they extended the theme until they got enough entries. I honestly think the iy_flashfic deadline may have something to do with this, since a lot of writers are scrambling to get their contributions done for that, not to mention the contest drawing to a close at iy_no_kakera. So much Inu fic, so little time ( ... )

Actually, community participation's been waning for the past two or three weeks. With so few entries and so many extensions, it's probably best the community "shut down" for a short period, until-as you mentioned-members can get their lives back on track. I personally don't have any school-related obligations, though my work schedule has picked up in recent weeks. I feel guilty for not participating as of late, so it's a relief to know others are just as scattered/all over the place as I am.

Besides, with the events in recent manga issues, I SERIOUSLY need to update my Sesshoumaru shrine. *sigh*

In any case, what I'm trying to say is I support your decision, and look forward to the community's re-opening in the future.

Hi honey, was just wondering if this is going to come back any time soon? Or is there plans of reopening it closer to the summer?
