Here are the fruits of my SEVENTEEN HOUR photo shoot on Saturday. It was a long day, and I was sore for most of Sunday and today; but it was also a lot of fun and yielded some badass shots.

Just watched this again for the first time in a long, long time. Man do I love those movies. I was so joyful by the end.
I love how Julie Delpy turns to him and says, "Baby, you are gonna miss your flight."
And he simply says, "I know."
So awesome. One of the most real and romantic movies I've ever seen.

I finished this book today, and the ending was unbelievable!!! I loved it so much. The protagonist goes through so much to regain her daughter. In the end, she is at her own parents' house about to sleep. Her mind momentarily races with the thoughts of everything that could go wrong. Then the narrator observes:

I'm currently reading my second novel in Spanish, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It's incredibly feminist and insightful. La Llorona by Marcela Serrano. It's about a poor, peasant woman who loses her daughter shortly after the baby's birth. After an epic Saturday involving beach, pier rides, bookstores, etc.; Axo and I headed out to the M Bar for the Classic Rock Singalong, where TAF and the Goose were performing. What a HOOT! It was so much fun to spend hours with a crowd full of singing people... and TAF just killed sympathy for the Devil at the end of the night. Needless to say ( Read more... )
