Summary: Why is Sesshomaru feeling cheated?

Cheated
Sesshomaru glowered through the dark, his hand tingling from his one, cautious attack on the sealing aura surrounding his brother.
The reiki was powerful, the spell-structure flawless. It would not fade over time, and it was locked to the person who had created it. And that person-according to the rumors which had led him here-was dead.
He had no doubt, that he could destroy the seal with pure brute force. But, doing so would destroy the stupid, worthless hanyo pinned to the tree. In and of itself-that was no loss. But killing the hanyo while Inuyasha was effectively already dead and totally unaware-no. Even as soiled with human blood as the hanyo was, the other half of his blood-the inu half-deserved better than a helpless, ignominious death.
No matter how much a fool he had been.
Seeking out a magic jewel that he would certainly lack the ability to control? Consorting with a miko-a miko powerful enough to cast this spell? He hadn’t learned from earlier experiences?
Sesshomaru could only conclude that mixed blood made one even stupider than pure human blood.
He cracked his knuckles and glowered again at the dim figure before him.
The hanyo was beyond his reach-perhaps forever. A human spell more unbreakable than his father’s, that had been cast on the dragon. He would one day-centuries, on his own, or years, once he found Tessaiga-be able to breach that seal, and take proper revenge.
But, not this one.
How annoying.
Inuyasha had cheated him.
