That is just insane. Really. Even her reasoning is nuts: who the hell cares if he was on drugs? Most popular modern musicians have been "substance abusers" at some point or other, and I bet they stock their CDs.

It's crazy: Alice's Adventures In Wonderland is, as you say, classic literature. You don't refuse to stock a book because of your personal views on the author. It's the content of the book that counts! And even if you disapprove of that, if people want to read it, it should be there for them to make up their own minds about.
