Tonight, I was on the receiving end of a rather scary phone call. Scary, in the sense that my heart dropped to somewhere around my ankles and I forgot how to breathe for a good half a minute while the voice on the other end relayed a teary, panicked message. No, I am not being over dramatic, I really was that affected by the call.

Santa-Sannin Confusion
How do you explain to a 22 month old child that Naruto's Jiraiya is not Santa Claus?
You can attempt to correct them gently, saying; "No, sweetie, that's not Santa, that's a cartoon." But in the end, the child will look at you, look at the cartoon, and declare, "Santa!"

Phobias
Have you ever noticed that every phobia seems to have its own name? For example, there is agoraphobia, arachnophobia, and so on and so forth. But I have to wonder, what about the fear of smooth peanut-butter?
Is there a name for that?
Personally, I think it should be called 'fear of pure evil in a jar', but that's just me.
