In other news.. there is no other news. It's a public holiday today which is nice, I can recover from my cold that I've had for 5 days now and from the skiing disaster of yesterday. I ended up getting the atomic skis and decided to try them out yesterday before the ski team triouts today, and it was a disaster. The skis were too fast for me, especially after almost a year of not skiing as is to happen wiht a sport that requires snow, I was alone, visibility was bad and I was at a completely new place. I suppose I'm to be grateful that I only fell once, and that it wasn't so bad when I did. The new boots that I got we're supposed to be good. We bought pretty cheap skis and bindings and then went for one of the best boots as I have ankle problems which we don't want to make worse, and I was in so much pain. All I can say is I hope they get better with use. Needless to say I have postponed ski team tryouts, as I could hardly get down a swiss red run yesterday.

Apart from this, not much has been happening. I have exams next week which I need to start studying for. I hear Folie a Deux was leaked? Anyone have any infos they want to share? I am not going to download as I think I can actually buy it here on the release date, as compared to Fast Times which STIL has not been released over here.

Christmas is coming, my mother and I bought some lovely adventy things from a flower shop and she has made me an advent calender, I think she's trying to make up for the fact that my dad has been in Australia for the past 2-3 months. Which is lovely of her, but it seems like too much effort :( Dad's coming home next week though,so that will be nice.

Homesick still, father sent an email wiht a picture of a national park near to where we live and it brought back so many memories, we spent so much time there with extended family when i was younger. Actually, have the picture, I thought it was lovely and although the tower is a bit too much in the middle I love the colours. I cried when I saw it, I can't wait to go home next summer.

christmas, homesick, folie a deux, meme
