Black Isle Studio is no more, thanks to its wonderful parent company Interplay, who seem more interested in banging out console games rather than quality PC games. I'm just baffled that Interplay would go to all the lengths of starting production on the game only to seemingly decide that PC RPG games are a goner and just concentrate on console. They must be nuts, or broke. or both :/

They claim: "For the record," says Interplay, "Black Isle Studios remains open with projects pending, the status of Fallout 3 is under review, and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel will ship on January 13."

That must be why many of the BIS team were on their forum saying they'd been sacked and Fallout was not going to happen. Yup.

Well, you can now aspire to work at Obsidian. It's like BIS refugees reunion over there i think :)
