I didnt JUDGE you. I thought I made it clear by adding that i wasnt saying this was you I was talking about. I said I felt like you didnt realize how hard it can be, but maybe you do. Just tell me so, then. I added you because you seem like a great person. Sometimes, people can disagree, especially if they have strong personalities. My nickname is Iza Straightshooter, because I cannot refrain from saying what is on my mind - I am incapable of hypocrisy or tactful restaint, which is sometimes taken or mistaken for being polite or subtle. I just felt a strong urge to respond to your comment for some reason. I hace had some disagreements with Mylène before, almost losing her friendship which was certainly NOT the intended goal. If I reacted to your comment, it's because it certainly struck a chord, and that cannot be all bad. That's why I added you. You're certainly smart & interesting, intelligent & caring as well.
Hello! I stumbled across you on the Japanophile group and had to read your profile. You seem like a sweet and interesting person. I hope you don't mind if I add you. My journal usually consists of random ramblings about my life or my current fandoms. I'm a big HP and Twilight lover. Sometims I'll post icons or art. I'm not a random weirdo, I assure you! ;o)
Hi there, I am theoubliette on youtube and I find you unique and interesting, and noticed your livejournal link. Sorry I don't blog a lot, but hopefully I will much more in the future.
thanks :) well it's probably insecure teenagers anyway, that's usually what it is with internet nasty comments, but still, I ahte it how people think that people it's the internet, they can be so mean, just because the person isnt in front of you to reply [or in my case, punch them in the face] ;) Thanks :) I feel less angry now :)
I agree with the person above me, some people there are just too elitist, and I witnessed for the first time just how nasty to newcomers some of them can be just because you weren't within their definition of "their kind of fan." There's even still people calling you a weeaboo in comments to other posts (for embracing bushido? Hell, more power to you for doing something like that!). On the other hand, I think you are a rather interesting sounding person. People can think what they like about me for asking this but I would like to friend you!
Yeah I admit I posted my "life story" and hadnt read the community rules that stated "no hey I'm new' pist blabla bla that just me I'm impulsive sometimes and I was excited about my stuff so I posted without checking the comm profile. I never expeced people to bash me like that, I thought hey these people are gonna love this! It's like they all have a crush on L so THEY wanted to be his gf/bf and they didnt want me to invent him one [she is an Angel, nonetheless, tenshi-san ;), she's the angel that comes see him before he dies.....] and I dont know.. angstered teenagers? I'm in my 30's so this phase of my life is over but a lot of DN fans are younger than me but still... this isnt excusable. It was like bang, bang every comment after the other bad bad bad I had only one person on my post being nice! Well, if they can be that mean to a total stranger, they must be suffering a lot so all the shame and pity on them

Mm, I guess they expected that you would create a little miss perfect "Mary Sue" character since a lot of people create fan-characters like that. Angsty teenagers? I'm one myself lol...yeah, a lot do seem to be around 18-19. But yeah, I would definitely how you treat people reflects how you are feeling and vice versa.
Weeaboo and Wapanese mean the same thing, though I believe weeaboo is a more recent concotion. Japanophile but with (even more?) negative connotations. Though "Japanese wannabee" is definitely included in the meaning - they're definitely saying it because of the bushido, which is just being quite ignorant on their part. I don't think the typical weeaboo would take their time to do learn such an art!
