So, the urge to return to the quiet corner of my LJ has grown somewhat, especially since friends on fb have taken it upon themselves to share my thoughts with others, particularly management. You know you can always put certain people in a group - according to FB, it will never show up for them anywhere, so they'll never know that i. e. you put them in the "rude people" group - and exclude them from some posts? Every time before you post something, you can set who sees what, and who doesn't. I use this feature a lot to hide my games posts from non-playing friends, such as not to bother them, or to hide very personal stuff from people I don't know so well. I'm not sure if this feature can always be 100% trusted, but I guess it's better to use it than to stop using FB out of frustration! *hugs* BTW It made me VERY angry to read this! :( I mean, it's lovely to have you back here, but the reason sucks!

One of my other co-workers went so far as to de-friend this person, but when fb made new changes, it snuck this person back onto his friend list. He didn t know, and was caught saying something the rest of us didn t care about, but this person did. I ve just decided to forgo doing any further rants on fb. Besides, I need to dust off my writing muscles and typing out more than just a few lines of a status update! :)

And you're doing a great job! I very much enjoy reading your entries. It made me realize that I used to dream (and remember my dreams) just like you, but... not recently, and I actually think not for a while, and I wonder when it stopped, and why. :\

Sigh, as for FB and privacy, I think these two things are and will always be contradictory! ~_~
