For those of you that don't watch the show, and are here to see what this ship is all about (maybe you've seen them spammed all over the place, and are kinda confused about things (I know I can keep up with ships on shows I don't watch, but sometimes the storylines are just too weird that it's hard to follow just on spams and such), Misfits is a show about group of five ~young offenders who are grouped together to do their community service. Only on the first day, a freak lightening storm hits, and they (as well as others) gain ~superpowers. Sounds stupid, I know, but it's fun and awesome and hilarious. SIMON is the token shy/creepy nerd, loner guy. His power is invisibility, naturally. He's only ever had one girlfriend, when he was in the sixth grade, and he just wants to be everyone's friend, but nobody really gives him the time of day. He's kinda the group's punching bag. ALISHA is the token hottie of the group, who's power is weird. Nobody can touch her without wanting to have sex with her, which kinda sucks for her. They always spew out nasty shit that they want to do to her and try to attack her, so she pretty much can't touch anyone unless she actually wants to sleep with them, then it's okay, I guess. Anyway, she's used to using her sexuality and her looks to her advantage, so this power is kind of inconvenient, and she has to kind of learn about other parts of herself. She's friends with Kelly and is dating Curtis, though they can't kiss or really have sex, obviously. The two of them barely had any interaction in the first season, other than when she's touched him, and he's said some gross stuff, or he's shown that he thinks she's hot. It is important to note that by this time, there has been a weird guy in a hoodie, mysteriously coming in to save various members of the gang. This is their story. Chung chung.
SIMON: What are you doing?
ALISHA: I'm seducing you. I'm being all slutty and horny.
SIMON: You're with Curtis.
ALISHA: Curtis? Curtis and me are over. He didn't satisfy me. Sexually.
SIMON: What are you doing? I don't think you should be doing that! You shouldn't be doing that!

Poor Simon, thinks he's getting his first blowjob from a hot chick, but it's really the crazy chick he was in the psych ward with. It's their first real scene of the season, and I can't help but assume that this whole side storyline was all for foreshadowing purposes. I mean, it has to be, right? I'm assuming most people that watched this could tell right away that it wasn't Alisha, but I wanna know if it made some people think 'Mmm, too bad that wasn't really Alisha, I'd totally ship them together.' Because that would have been my plan if I wrote for the show.
SIMON: Alisha? Alisha? Alisha!
ALISHA: What?
SIMON: Do you like food? ... I mean eating! We could go for a pizza and some garlic dough balls.
ALISHA: Are you asking me out?
SIMON: I think about you. Not just since you-
ALISHA: You think about me? Have you been wanking over me? If you wanna wank over someone, wank over Kelly, yeah? Freak.

Poor, poor Simon. It's so cute that he tries to ask her out on a date though. She was definitely a bitch here, but I'd be creeped out too, I guess. But aw, his question at the end breaks my heart every single time.
ALISHA: I think he's been wanking over me.
SIMON: I haven't! (She doesn't know Alisha gave me oral sex)
KELLY: She gave you a blow job?
ALISHA: What?
KELLY: I read his mind. He says that you sucked him off.

This scene was just super awkward, and in front of everyone! His face when Alisha says it wouldn't be his, so sad. He understandably took it personally, but I think he really does like her, so that really hurt. But OH ALISHA, if only you knew. You know the writers loved writing that.
CURTIS: Who is this guy?
ALISHA: I dunno, he's following me.
Creepy SuperHoodie guy is following Alisha, even when she's not in danger. I wonder why that's here. Mmmm.
GUY: Give me your bag!
ALISHA: Ah, my necklace!

The fucking coloring in this scene, smh, Anyway, I love how it seems to take her this long to realize that SuperHoodie is really helping them, even if he's a bit creepy. Her reaction when he grabs her hand/touches her, so awesome. She looks smitten already.
ALISHA: Have you seen anymore of that guy? In the mask?
SIMON: Not since last week.
ALISHA: Well, why do you think he led us to that girl's flat?
SIMON: Maybe he wanted us to know that he knew that we were onto him. Or it could be another totally different explanation.
ALISHA: You're supposed to know about this stuff.
SIMON: Why are you interested in him?
ALISHA: Because I just am, alright?! What?
I love her little smile at the way Simon is holding the mannequin piece when she first walks over. She doesn't look at him like he's a creeper or anything, like I think she would have done, but just got that he wasn't meaning to do it, and just smiling at the fact that he looked embarrassed. If any of that makes sense. I also love that she goes to him for answers, they seem to do that a lot, but it's cute, even if she ends up yelling at him.
ALISHA: Wanker.
GUY: You talking to me?
ALISHA: Yeah, that's right. Yeah, I'm talking to you, you ugly, rat faced fuck.
GUY: You're gonna get slapped.
ALISHA: Come on then and save me, you prick!
Oh, Alisha. Probably not a very good move, but who could resist. At least I don't think her plan was always to get someone to attack her, she seemed to be waiting there at first, hoping Superhoodie would come out randomly, but of course he couldn't make it that easy. I wonder if this was one of the things that was always gonna happen/he knew would happen, or if he just saw her doing that on what of his hidden cameras or whatever that's been implied he has set up, and that's why he was late. I love that she calls him a prick as she's begging him to come and save her. So her.
I'm pretty much confident in the fact that there has never been a hotter, more badass reveal ever. Could Iwan look any hotter? I mean, I always thought Simon was good looking, and assumed the actor was hot in real life, when he wasn't being such an awkward and occasionally creepy character, but my GOD. I didn't think it was possible to look so different without really even doing anything, other than just acting more confident? I can't believe Alisha didn't just drop her panties right there, tbqh. Just damn. Anywho, back to the scene. How pretty is that eye shot? Gorgeous. The whole scene is so intense and amazing, and the build up to the big reveal, and then the fact that it doesn't disappoint, etc. I really wish I wasn't spoiled for the identity of SuperHoodie and especially this bamf shot, but oh well. If this gif doesn't make you want to watch the show (as well as this ship), then idk what could.
ALISHA: Since when did you run around, jumping off building?
SIMON: Ever since I traveled back from the future.
ALISHA: Really, did you? ... Seriously? How does this work? There's two of you.
SIMON: There's the Simon you know, then there's the future Simon. Me.
ALISHA: You're so different.
SIMON: A lot happens between now and then.
ALISHA: You touched me. Why doesn't my power work on you?
SIMON: Things are different in the future.
ALISHA: And what's with all the photographs? And clocks and ...
SIMON: There are things that need to happen at certain times. I'm here to make sure they do.
I adore the fact that she can tell how different he is almost immediately. Though, his oozing hottness was probably the first clue! The look on her face when he touches her! And how she just freezes there for a moment, and can't say anything. Gah. I'm really dying to know what it is that makes people, or at least him, be able to touch her. Whether it's just him, if it's him that makes it happen, or something different with her. So many questions. But I hope whatever it is happens soon, because I want Present!Simon to be able to touch her soon.
ALISHA: I know you've looked out for us. Killing the probation worker, the second one. I've never thanked you. I wanted you to know. Thanks.
SIMON: Why are you being so nice to me?
ALISHA: I can be nice. Sometimes. Look, if I've ever been a bitch to you ... I'm sorry.
SIMON: I've never thought you were a bitch. Sometimes I think it's difficult for beautiful girls. People don't see passed their looks.
This sceneeee. I adore that she approaches him before any of the other stuff about their relationship is revealed, that all it took was that one meeting for her to approach him and talk to him in such a different way than she normally does. I mean, I do think she was ~drawn to Future!Simon from the start, but this was before all the other stuff, so I think it means more. Anyway, this whole scene is love. I love that she brought him a drink, I love that she thanks him, I love his confusion, and her realization that she's never had a nice, civil conversation with him before that he'd be so cautious of her now. That look on her face, so good. And of course, Simon is perfect, and makes her feel better, by telling her the truth, because I don't think it would occur to him to lie to make her feel better. All just so good.
ALISHA: You told me I was beautiful today.
SIMON: I know. Everything that happens to Simon has already happened to me.
ALISHA: It made me feel ... Ever since I've got this power, blokes ... It doesn't make you feel very good about yourself.
SIMON: It's not down to you. None of us asked for this.
ALISHA: What do you want from me? Why are you here in this time?
SIMON: I came back for you.
ALISHA: Are we ... together?
SIMON: We will be. That's why I'm here.
ALISHA: You and me? Seriously? How is that ever gonna happen?
SIMON: You fall in love with me.
ALISHA: You can't say stuff like that. You know what happens, and I don't know how I'm supposed to feel, and it's freaking me out ...
Gah, this scene is so good. I'm bummed I couldn't fit the adorable exchange about him sniffing her knickers, but just know I love it, and that it's the first sign that he can be funny, and he's still Simon. I love the way she trails off when she says him telling her she was beautiful made her feel ... Like it really doesn't need to be finished. It just made her feel, and that's so swoon worthy. I know him telling her all of that wasn't fair, and kind of manipulative, but the dialogue and the way it's delivered, with that music, it's just all so beautiful and has such an epic feel to it, I eat it all up. Also, we need to see what her new computer wallpaper is now that her and Curtis broke up. Better be her and Simon. I hope she got some pictures with him other than the obvious one. Maybe she can ask present!Simon, he'd be so adorably awkward!
ALISHA: I don't even know if what you're telling me is true. You say all these things, you tell me I fall in love with you ... How do I know it happens? You can't do this to me.
SIMON: ... I have to go.
ALISHA: You touch me like that then tell me you have to go?
SIMON: There's something I need to do. Wait here.
ALISHA: What am I doing?
SIMON: It's gonna be alright. I should know, I'm from the future.
I love that she came to him after her fight with Curtis, and even though it was contrived that he'd accidentally blame her after Simon assured her it wasn't her fault, etc, it was still awesome. That hug, ugh. The look on his face as he's hugging her, like it's been a million years since he's been able to hold her, just kills me. And her line about him touching her like that and then going, omg. I melted the first time I saw. And his future joke at the end, with that smileeee. I knew he had to really be Simon, and not evil at that point. Only Simon could be that endearing and adorable.
ALISHA: Do we become famous?
SIMON: Do you want to be famous?
ALISHA: It's gotta be better than picking up litter.
SIMON: Sometimes I think that was the best time of my life.
ALISHA: Does something bad happen to us? Am I gonna die?
SIMON: I'm not gonna let that happen.
ALISHA: So what happens now?
SIMON: What do you want to happen?
ALISHA: I don't know.
This scene is just so simple and beautiful. Such a pretty first kiss, and I never really noticed it until someone pointed it out on Tumble, but I love in the forth angle, when she puts her hand on his face, that she's like trembling, so perfect. And the way his hand slowly comes up to her back. I mention this later, but I love that everything they do seems in slowmo.

This scene is fucking hot and beautiful and absolutely perfect, there's just nothing else for me to say here. The music, the angles, the chemistry, I don't know how someone can't ship it. That ending of it. Gah. Could watch on repeat forever.
ALISHA: Don't take this the wrong way, but you're way better than I thought you'd be.
SIMON: I had a good teacher. You.
ALISHA: I never taught you how to do that.
SIMON: Not yet. But you will.
ALISHA: I didn't realize how much I missed it. Being able to touch someone. I can't believe I had sex with you. You're Simon, you're still a virgin.
SIMON: Not for much longer.
ALISHA: Do you lose it with me?
SIMON: Are you jealous?
ALISHA: Shut up.
SIMON: I like it that you're jealous.
ALISHA: This is too weird.
Omg, this scene is probably my favorite. It's just so swoon worthy, I cannot even. At first I didn't like the angle of the above shot, it seemed too, idek, like dream like maybe? But with the other beautiful, chopped up or whatever angles in it, makes it perfect. I never noticed it until this scene, but Misfits just loves to blur backgrounds and half of their frames, and it works really well here, in the above shots. Anyway, every piece of dialogue in this scene is perfection. And Iwan's voice in this scene does things to me, as does his little smile and the way he touches her face the whole time.
ALISHA: I've gotta go do my community service. I guess you know that. Cause I'm gonna see you there. So, are we seeing each other now?
SIMON: Yes.
ALISHA: I can't lie to Curtis. I can't do that to him
SIMON: You have to.
ALISHA: What? You want me to keep on seeing him?
SIMON: The present me isn't ready for what has to happen. You have to give me time.
ALISHA: Would you stop being so fucking mysterious?
SIMON: It comes with the territory.
ALISHA: Well, it's annoying.
SIMON: You have to trust me. Just let it play out.
She's wearing his hoodie! And he looks hot working out. I was so holding my breath in this scene. He's seriously the worst time traveler ever though. Not only does he let her see him and know he's from the future, but now they're dating, lol. I love her fake anger at him for being so mysterious, and the smile he gives her. You know she would act like that all the time, and to hear it again from her, probably makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I think this was my favorite hair/face touch, maybe because Antonia looks so fucking gorgeous in that shot though. I am shallow.
SIMON: We need to find out who he is.
ALISHA: Can't we just let him do his thing? I mean, seriously, who cares?
I love the look he gives her here, he totally knows something is up. She is not very slick with any of her 180s in these episodes, and even Simon realizes it.
ALISHA: What are you doing?
SIMON: Nothing.
ALISHA: Well, if you're done being all superheroy with your little clocks, you can come back to bed.
Aw, they're like domestic kinda, in their own freakish way. I love that she's wearing the orange hoodie again, and got up just to find him so he would come back to bed. I also love that she clearly sleeps over at his place all the time, I bet. So much love. And of course the kiss and the way he picks her up and they go back to bed for some sexy time. Like I said a bit above, I love that they always seem to be going in slow motion, that they like to savior every little kiss and touch, even if Simon knows that they don't exactly have all the time in the world. There's just something about it that fits them perfectly. And I feel like if/when we get to see her with present!Simon, that it won't be like that. At least at first. I think he'll be rushed and inexperienced (obviously), but they'll work up to that.
ALISHA: You knew? You knew it was gonna happen. Why didn't you stop it?
SIMON: I can't save everyone.
ALISHA: That's bullshit.
SIMON: If I had stopped it from happening, someone else would've died.
I love that she was so affected by Olli's death for some reason. Shows that she's growing up and becoming a better person, because I don't know if I think she'd be as upset before all this started. Meaning, before meeting this Simon, not all the power stuff. I mean, she's been involved in a murder/murder cover up, so she's not new to death ... And oh, Simon, Being mysterious again, I see. But that's okay, it looks really good on you.
ALISHA: I did what you said. I let it play out. Me and Curtis. We're over.
Ugh, knowing that he was just standing there and watching the clock, is so freaking depressing now. I mean, I knew the first time I watched it too, but still. It gets more depressing everytime I watch it. I love how he just wordlessly approaches her and kisses her, and she probably thinks it's because she's finally just his, but we all know why he's really doing it. Anyway, there's that slow mo again. They're just so gentle and perfect. And I want one! Plus, his arms. Yum. Shallow is showing again.
ALISHA: We should go away somewhere.
SIMON: Where would you like to go?
ALISHA: I've always wanted to go to Las Vegas.
SIMON: I'll take you there. I promise ... I've got something for you.
ALISHA: No one's ever given me keys to their place before.
SIMON: Now you can let yourself in.
ALISHA: ... I've gotta go. What?
SIMON: Nothing.
ALISHA: Alright, mystery man. Gonna be late.
This sceneeeee. First, Antonia looks perfect, stunning, flawless, etc. But the dialogue kills me. They're both so adorable at the beginning of it, and then Simon's heartbreaking giving of the key, tears. And the way he doesn't want to let her go when she moves to leave. He totally knows and he doesn't want it to end. The way she's so casual about leaving and everything, because she has no idea, is just so hard to watch. I love the way she was looking at him the whole time she was leaving though. But seriously, the whole scene is just so hard to watch.
ALISHA: I'll get you an ambulance.
SIMON: It has to be like this.
ALISHA: Why?
SIMON: So we can be together.
ALISHA: No, I can't let you die.
SIMON: You have to. Or I'll never be this person. It's going to be okay. You have to do something. There's patrol in that can. No one can know it's me. Promise me you won't tell him. Promise me.
ALISHA: You can't die. I love you.
SIMON: I'll still be here.
ALISHA: I don't love him, I love you!
SIMON: It's you falling in love with him, that makes him become me. It's all coming together.
ALISHA: No, don't. Simon. Fuck! Oh, God.
You're gonna have to excuse the lack of gif here, I just couldn't. This scene is soo sad, omg. There are a lot of theories and questions going around about this, but I don't think this was the moment that he came back to fix. I don't think she died here before, since we know she was alive for when they become famous. I like the theory that all of the things he's changed (saving Nathan from the pod people, saving Curtis from the shapeshifter, talking to Alisha, etc) has sped a bunch of things up. Which I think is why he was with Alisha this whole time. I think her and Simon would have happened eventually, but I think he needed them to happen sooner or something, and that's why all of this happened, and by dying, it helps to push them together or something, I don't know, yo. But I hope we get an explanation in the last two episodes, even though he's gone. I have faith that there's an explanation and it's not all just plot holes everywhere. I hope so.
SIMON: ... Is everything alright?
This scene breaks my heart. Okay, so most of their scenes do, but this one was the worst. The way she can't help but look at him, even though up until now she's been pretty good at separating the two of them, despite her kinder treatment of the present him. But here it's like she just can't help it. She's lost her Simon, and she can't help but long to be with this one now, both because she just misses him, but because she knows that he'll eventually be her Simon, etc. But the way she looks like she's about to cry when she nods her head at his question, and the really small smile she gets on her face when she watches him walk away, and she realizes that maybe she hasn't really lost him, etc. Perfectionnnnnn, as usual.
"I've always wanted to go to Las Vegas."
"I'll take you there. I promise."
This reveal/scene feels more epic the more I watch it/the episode. I can't decide if I think they originally went there in Future!Siimon's lifetime, and he had that picture with him, and he put it up there before leaving, knowing she'd go back there and see it, and it would give her hope, etc. And when he said he'd take her there, he already had. OR, if that his dying changed the future because of what's going to happen because of it, and that picture like magically materialized to show that he changed the future, and that now they could/will go to Vegas, and it represents their happy ending, if that makes any sense at all. Either way, the look on her face when she sees it kills me, the way her hand shakes as she picks it up, but especially the look afterward. Again, that little smile of hope she gets on her face, and the way she closes her eyes. EPIC SHIP IS FUCKING EPIC. PS: I really hope she took his hoodie with her and we'll see her wearing it later.
