the word 'uber' is actually spelt with an umlaut (to the best of my knowledge) so it should in fact be spelt 'oober' as an umlaut over a 'u' means that it is spelt in reality with a double 'o'. please correct me if you have a german dictionary and/or degree

Über becomes "Ueber" in English. Doesn't look quite right, though, does it? (Oh, and ü is ü in HTML.)
