the word 'uber' is actually spelt with an umlaut (to the best of my knowledge) so it should in fact be spelt 'oober' as an umlaut over a 'u' means that it is spelt in reality with a double 'o'. please correct me if you have a german dictionary and/or degree ( Read more... )

well, if youre super-nifty, surely you could just find a way of putting an umlaut in? like by cut and pasting or something?

Something like Über then :-)

(the Ü being achieved by ALT and 0220)

Über becomes "Ueber" in English. Doesn't look quite right, though, does it? (Oh, and ü is ü in HTML.)

it is quite ueber-cool that you have such ueber-intellect skills so you know how to spell ueber. i knew everyone else was wrong. at least i KNEW i was wrong and tried to correct myself.
