ok...so it's getting worse. it's gone like a huge bruise but it doesn't hurt and i don't have swelling, headaches or any goo. on the up side, the other one is nicely producing a swell and white plasma.

i'm cutting this one for the squeamish people )

oh jess, it's getting worse!!! is this to be expected? it doesn't hurt though. the other one is producing plasma and KILLING me. but the skanky one just sits there. the skin feel thinner over the top than the other one so i think it might be working it's way out by rotting the skin away around it. eaugh. i can just see it bursting out, alien-esque...

hmmm that's not good :( i'd say leave it for another day and if the skin looks any thinner then take it out, you can always get it redone under the scar tissue when it's healed, and that will be less likely to come out.

i don't know what to recommend, because if it was mine i'd probably poke it just because it would be too hard to resist, to see if budging it let it drain (the build up of lymph etc might be what's causing it to reject if it can't drain). but when i think about it it's probably not a great idea to touch them!

thank you for your advice oh wise one!
imho, i want them to be fine and not be migrating or rejecting or whatever but stay as they are forever cos i kinda like the colours of the blood bruise.

for your viewing pleasure.

ibuprofen will reduce the swelling. that stuff can burn through your stomach lining so don't take too much.
