I wonder how a person whose 5 senses are warped, that what he senses are nothing like how it really is, and knowing what he senses aren't real, yet still unable to conform to the fake senses. I've never thought of such things ( Read more... )

Yes indeed. Which is why I posted it... Of course, the underlying thing is.... Its just something for my next story. :P

Still though, It must be a bit... saddening. Yes... Kinda reminds me of Saya no Uta, if you've played it.

There's some hentai game where the main character sees everyone as giant massive blobs of flesh. And everything else, too. The storyline gets shitty, but the initial idea and opening to the game made me think. He sees, hears, tastes, everything as flesh and gore and vomit. His friends talking sound like intestines slapping together, and whatever else.

I knew a blind girl in school, and I'd often bombard her with questions about this stuff after confirming she didn't take offense. She loved to explain how she "saw" things in her head and trying to explain it.

Yes. Saya no Uta. Actually, it was during the time I played the game a few months ago that I thought of the subject. :P

Yes, people who haven't one sense 'feels' things we who have all 5 can't. It's like having some other sense that doesn't really make sense to us.
