Kajimoto is surprised. It's been a few weeks and the puppy is still there. Wakato has kept his word and takes care of Jinx's every need. It's cute really. He spoils the small dog. Kajimoto doesn't mind however, it keeps Wakato busy and the other doesn't bother him as much as he usually does.
The puppy sleeps in their bed with them. Something that Kajimoto had protested at first until Wakato proceeded to convince him to let her sleep there. He really needs to stop letting Wakato do that. Now he's stuck with her fur tickling his feet while he's trying to sleep. He also doesn't appreciate being woken up to wet puppy kisses in the morning.
In a week the puppy has claimed the apartment as her own. Kajimoto can't go anywhere without almost tripping over her. She follows hi around and Kajimoto can't even think of why she does. Wakato's her master not him. Maybe she's taken notice that he really doesn't want her there.
Jinx is a needy little thing. She's playful too. Kajimoto dreads it when Wakato has to leave to take his own classes. Jinx either whimpers quite loudly, or brings one of her toys to him hoping that's play with her, tail wagging. He really has no time. He has homework to do but Jinx doesn't seem to care. She looks at him with big puppy eyes and he can't say no. She might just be worse than Wakato at needing to get what she wants.
He plays with her for a bit before returning to his homework. Afterwards, he sits on the couch and reads. It doesn't take long for the puppy hops onto the couch and places her head against his lap. He sighs and pets her, eyes still focused on his book.
She falls asleep like that and Kajimoto can't help but smile. She cute. He's already imagining how Wakato will celebrate this victory. Jinx can stay. He just hopes Wakato doesn't get into his head that he's going to be walking her. Taking care of her is still his boyfriend's job.
