Kajimoto can't help but be just a little jealous. Even though he knows that Wakato has no interest in the girls that surround him on a daily basis, he still finds himself not wanting to be anywhere near Wakato when the girls are around.
Wakato's a flirt. He knows that, but he still doesn't like it. And it also doesn't help that no one outside of their friends know that their dating. So for all those girls know, Wakato is single and he and Kajimoto just happen to be roommate. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Kajimoto finds it annoying that at least half of Wakato's Jyousei fan club has followed him to this university. He still hasn't been able to understand how Wakato could stand being around so many girls at once. But then, Wakato does absorb attention and he has a decently sized ego to prove it.
When Wakato waves good-bye to th girls and blows them kisses it hit a nerve. Kajimoto hates that too. They walk home in mostly silence. Well, the silence is on Kajimoto's part. Wakato is chatting away about his day and about the play that the theatre club is going to be doing. Kajimoto just nods, but doesn't really listen.
Jinx greets them with a happy bark when they open the door to their apartment. Her tail wags and she follows Wakato around until he bends down with a smile and gives her the attention shes wants. Kajimoto puts his school bag away in their room before returning to the living room. He crosses his arms.
Wakato is filling the puppy's food bowl. When he finishes, he puts the dog food away before heading towards Kajimoto. Wakato pokes him in the cheek.
“You know, you really should be jealous of them.”
Kajimoto blinks and turns his head. “Who said I was jealous. You can do whatever you want. I trust you.”
“Yeah sure you trust me,” Wakato says. He raises a hand to turn Kajimoto's face back towards him. “But, that doesn't mean you trust my girls.”
Kajimoto frowns. “It might be easier to if you would quit calling them your girls and if you would quit flirting with them. I don't like it.”
Wakato grins and places his hands at Kajimoto's hips. He hooks his fingers in his belt loops. “Don't worry about that. I'm dating you. Not them. I never will be dating them either.” He presses a kiss to Kajimoto's mouth.
Kajimoto sighs and kisses him back. “But, they don't know that.”
Wakato goes quiet for a moment. His fingers tap lightly against him. “Hm... I could tell them.”
Kajimoto raises an eyebrow. “But what about you image that you've worked so hard on?” He's surprised that Wakato's willing to give that up so easily.
Wakato shrugs. “It's fine. They already know I like guys too.” He smiles. “Now they'll know I'm actually dating someone. Sure there will be a few broken hearts, but it'll be alright.”
Kajimoto just listens to his boyfriend as he just rambles on about breaking poor his poor fan girls' hearts before shaking his head. “Wakato, please shut up.” He tells him. “Just tell them if you're going to.”
He gives him a quick kiss and pries himself away from the other before Wakato gets any ideas. He heads into the kitchen and pets Jinx with his foot on the way there. He can't wait to see how tomorrow goes. He wonders how surprised the girls will actually be. But then again, he doesn't really care.
