He feels terrible. No, more than that. He feels absolutely awful. He could hurt Wakato right now if he didn’t feel so nauseous almost every time he sits up. That, and the redhead currently isn’t home at the moment which is probably for the best. He doesn’t need his friend trying to cook him anything else. He doesn’t need an even worse case of food poisoning on top of what he has now and he definitely doesn’t want to end up having to go to the hospital.
Kajimoto sighs and reaches for the glass of water he had Wakato sit on the bedside table before he left. He almost jumps when he hears the front door opens.
“I can’t believe that idiot actually left you here all by yourself.” Youhei voice drifts into the bedroom from the living room.
“Buchou, I told we told you it was a bad idea to move in with him.” Kouhei’s voice follows.
Kajimoto forces a smile onto his face as the twins enter the bedroom and wonders how the twins got a key to the apartment. “Kouhei… Youhei… What are you two doing here?” He asks, forgetting about the glass of water that he was reaching for.
The twins are at his side almost immediately.
“We heard that idiot gave you food poisoning.” Youhei answers, plopping down next to him.
“Hey, it’s not like he tried to poison me alright.” Kajimoto says and sighs. “Besides, it’s partially my fault for eating his cooking to begin with.”
“But he shouldn’t have been cooking in the first place.” Kouhei argues. He picks up the glass of water and hands it to Kajimoto. “How many times have you told him to stay out of the kitchen anyway?”
Not enough it seems. Kajimoto doesn’t voice the thought and shakes his head. “It doesn’t matter. I should be more careful with what I put in my mouth.”
The twins seem to consider what Kajimoto says for a moment before shrugging.
“It’s still his fault since he’s the one who cooked it.” Kouhei says before presenting Kajimoto with bag. “That reminds me… We made you something to make you feel better.”
“Thanks you two. I’ll eat it later.” Kajimoto says with a small smile. “I was actually about to take a nap.”
“Oh, well, we’ll just stay here with you.” Youhei makes himself comfortable next to next to Kajimoto.
Kouhei climbs onto the bed on the other side of him. “Yeah, you never know if you’re going to wake up feeling sick and need help getting to the bathroom.”
Kajimoto can’t help but laugh as they snuggle up on either side of him. Of course that’s why they’re staying. Though, he has his doubts and is sure annoying Wakato is also one of their goals for the day. He shakes his head knowing that there’s going to be trouble when Wakato gets back from his classes.
“Hey, how did you two get a key to the apartment?” He asks after a moment.
For a moment he doesn’t think he’s going to get an answer. Both are quiet for a moment before they answer in unison. “Wakato gave us a key.”
So that was it. Wakato probably wanted to make sure he was okay. Though, he supposes Wakato didn’t count on the twins staying. More so, he probably didn’t count on them snuggling up with him either. He sighs. Wakato’s definitely going to throw a fit when he gets home.
