Yeah. Like Takato and Guilmon back when you first showed up. I'm still not sure how it works, but those digimon we... freed gave us the power some how.
*well if she read the whole report, she'd know what that pause is about anyway*
Yeah, it seems like it.
It was all pretty amazing. Biomerging with Renamon I mean. I always felt like it'd be better if I was able to fight with Renamon instead of just standing back and now I can.

X: As I mentioned to Teppei during the mission, Biomerging seems at least similar to bonding between a B't and a human. I suggest you respect it's power and learn to use it to its full potential. Unfortunately, Teppei and I have no quite hit that level yet.

((I'm still trying to figure out to do that for X's comments. I can do it when I'm making a journal post since the option's right there, but with replies I still don't know))
X: Simply put, a B't is a state-of-the-art robot, traditionally in the shape of a mythological creature, activated when it comes into contact with the blood of a donor. Although the nature of the partnership differs, the principle of two individuals working together seems similar to what you and Rika have.
Speaking of which, what about that red stuff? Renamon says it's The Chaos, but she's not quite sure what it is aside from it being really dangerous and that it apparently came from the Digital World.
Oh, right... I heard something about digimon being experimented on or something like that, I can hardly believe it. Did it happen during a fight with whoever was responsible?
Yeah. Those Digimon were in pain Takato. The were begging us to delete them... Which we did.
Then this weird red stuff appeared in the lab. We don't know what it was. It overloaded Lamia's scanners when she tried to sense it and Renamon freaked out a bit, so whatever it was, it was definitely bad news.
But then, somehow, the digimon we just deleted gave us the power to biomerge, to thank us for freeing them. We were able to wipe that stuff out pretty easily as Sakuyamon.

Was it like even in your own mind you weren't sure where you began and where Renamon ended, or what memories were yours and what were hers?

Trust me. We'll be sure to use it to it's full potential alright.

How'd it happen?!

... Well, it's not exactly a pleasant story.
