Is there some sort of hidden metaphor behind this? Hah ah aha. I'm paranoid (and not even for myself, just for the sole fact I cannot understand this. It's driving me "nuts.")

nothing hidden. i tried crushing a beer can on my head but it didnt crush right away. so i had to smack it against my head about 10 times so it would finally smash.
