That's weird. It's a tech place, don't they have automated systems? When I worked at Stream, all I had to do was dial into my phone, and they knew instantly where I was, when I was there, and for what duration. They knew when I took my breaks, too.
And quite frankly, you're working at a tech support place. People's problems are a low priority. I hate to drop the bomb and say, "Don't be surprised."
Luckily everything is automated, thus I can check my time card online and such. The problem comes in with the 'transition week' (the first week of the pay period of the check in question), in which since all n00bs obviously can't clock in right they just reset down the hours to what they thought we worked. I guess they thought my overtime was in error........heh. So at this point I'm just writing down on paper my clock in, out, breaks, lunch, etc. to match up with the computer.
