Really glad you had a relatively safe trip and Kari took such good care of you guys! I heard the hurricane damage wasn't as bad as expected in Houston. Was there any damage to your apartment building at all?

actually we are liveing in a house now, and we were very fortunate not to have any damage at all. In fact it looks like we didn't even lose power very long. HOwever beaumont...where my dad's family is from...was devistated. We are still waiting to hear about it. My great grandmother on my mom's side lives in that county and is haveing to stay with my parents till she gets power back.

Oh! House is good. So, did you lose the food in the freezer, or was the power outage short enough that things are fine?
