HOLY CRAP THIS EPISODE OF THE CLONE WARS IS KICKING 87 KINDS OF ASS.  THIS ENTIRE STORY ARC HAS KICKED ASS.

GREAT WRITING.  OBI-WAN TORTURE.  ACTUAL PREMEDITATED, THOUGHTFUL CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

GOTTA GO - ONLY A FEW MINUTES LEFT!!!!

I was admittedly disappointed by the lack of onscreen H/C between Anakin and Obi-Wan--although I blame Anakin's serious surfeit of cheek on Obi-Wan--so I guess I'll just have to imagine it all, quite happily, in fact. They did leave the deck together, amirite?? :DDDD

You know, this ep also brings to mind exactly WHY Obi-Wan aged so ridiculously in 20 years--my word, the trials he endured during the war (never mind Anakin's little trip to the Darkside)! There's Ventress (twice), his speederbike getting blown up over Coruscant followed by his little 'vacation' to Zigoola with Bail, and the beatdown/enslavement he's taken in this story arc, never mind, oh, THE REST OF THE WAR ITSELF. The Republic was damn lucky Obi-Wan's made of some serious stuff, bc hello, any one of those things would have turned Anakin another Jedi.

I'm so looking forward to next week! Katee Sackhoff!! Please, please let there be verbal dalliances with Anakin and Obi-Wan, please Dave!
